Biography

Ayako Mori is a Japanese Techno DJ and producer based in Madrid, head of 3 labels (Physical Techno Recordings, Kalmary Records and Unbekannt/Label).

As a composer, making sounds and tracks for a living theater “Shelf “volume03 「R.U.R.」at Tokyo, (2004).Her music was on Longstone Remix album of Longstoned (2007), Sakura (2011) on Ochre (UK).In 2013, the first original track ” Brane world / Stereophonic recordings “has been chosen to “10 MUST HEAR MINIMAL TRACKS – WEEK 29 ” by Beatport.In 2014, Her remix work “EL PUNT (Tokio Mode)/ Ayako Mori & Larry lan ” has chosen “10 Must hear Minimal Tracks week 7”.

She started her career in Tokyo around the 2000s and then moved to Europe (Ireland, Poland, Germany), where she became very involved in the local scene and also in major events, such as ADE. She is currently a Gegen Berlin resident at the infamous KitKat club and plays throughout Europe, Latin America and North America.

During the pandemic, she also did live broadcasts for HÖR Berlin (DE), United We Stream (Arte Concert France) and Rave the Planet (Love Parade New Project, DE).

With more than 400 tracks and remixes on various labels such as Bpitch, Soma Records, Stay Up Forever, Noise Manifesto, Elements, Hydraulix.

Your tracks are so cute!! (Schiere remix) is among Beatport’s top 2 Hard Techno sales and streams in 2021.

In 2022, his remix for the Soma Records (UK) remix contest was chosen as 2nd winner.

In 2023, she made a remix for DJ Rebekah’s track called Pop Pop.

In June 2024, his collaborative track with Raul Alvarez was released in the Bpitch-We Are Aot Alone PT.7 series on 12-inch vinyl.

And another vinyl was released including its remix on Stay Up Forever x Hydraulis Records.
